The Check-In Area Card Reader is Not Working

1) Close the Table Tap Go Charger software by manually logging in using your Administrator Login. Then open Table Tap Go Charger back up by long holding the icon and pressing "Run as Administrator".

  • If the reader now works, likely the system is allowing the USB hub to sleep.
  • Exit Table Tap Go Charger
  • In the Search box at the bottom left of the task bar, type, "Device Manager"
  • Press the Device Manager application
  • Press the drop down arrow next to "Universal Serial Bus controller" at the bottom.
  • For each item do the following:
    • Right click
    • Press Properties
    • Press "Power Management" tab
    • Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
    • Press "OK"
    • Close the device manager and open Table Tap Go Charger
  • If the reader does not work, likely there is a cable/reader hardware issue.
    • Unplug the USB cable from the Minix PC and plug into a different usb port
    • Unplug the USB cable from underneath the card reader and plug back in

2) Try restarting the PC

  • Exit Table Tap Go Charger
  • Press the windows flag icon at the bottom left of the screen
  • Press the power Icon
  • Press "Restart"
    • If a windows update occurs during the restart, please see #1 - "If the reader now works" and follow the steps.
  • Open Table Tap Go Charger
